From a very early age I have drawn, painted and made things.
Having worked in a realistic style for many years,my paintings now are becoming more expressive and experimental in the use of colour and form.
Much of the thematic content of my work is inspired by mythology and allegory and in particular the spirit of female then and now.
I am also interested in the role mythology and religious beliefs and customs play as an interface between the individual and the space-time continuum in which it exists.
I work in oil, acrylic, tempera,charcoal and goldleaf.
